These Seller Terms and Conditions (“Seller Terms”) govern the use of the Alkonect marketplace platform by individuals or businesses (“Seller”, “Vendor”, “you”) who list and sell products on the platform operated by Alkonect Ltd (“Alkonect”, “Platform”, “we”, “us”, “our”).

By registering as a seller on the Alkonect platform, you agree to comply with these Seller Terms.

1. Seller Eligibility

To sell on the Alkonect marketplace, you must:

• Be at least 18 years old

• Provide accurate personal or business information

• Possess the legal authority to sell the products listed

• Comply with all applicable laws and regulations in Nigeria

Alkonect reserves the right to approve or reject any seller registration.

2. Seller Account Registration

Sellers must provide accurate information during account registration, including:

• Full name or business name

• Valid phone number and email address

• Bank account details for payouts

• Business registration documents where applicable

Sellers are responsible for maintaining the security and confidentiality of their account credentials.

3. Seller Obligations

Sellers agree to:

• Provide accurate product listings

• Deliver products as described

• Maintain professional conduct with customers

• Respond to customer inquiries promptly

• Comply with all marketplace policies

Sellers must ensure that their activities on the platform do not harm the reputation or operations of Alkonect.

4. Product Listings

All product listings must:

• Be truthful and accurate

• Include clear descriptions and images

• Reflect correct pricing

• Comply with applicable product safety regulations

Alkonect may remove any listing that violates platform policies or applicable laws.

5. Prohibited Products

Sellers may not list or sell products that are:

• Illegal under Nigerian law

• Counterfeit or unauthorized replicas

• Stolen goods

• Dangerous or restricted items

• Items that infringe intellectual property rights

Alkonect reserves the right to remove prohibited listings without notice.

6. Pricing and Fees

Sellers are responsible for setting the price of their products.

Alkonect may charge certain fees, including:

• Marketplace commission fees

• Payment processing fees

• Advertising or promotional fees

All applicable fees will be disclosed to sellers through the platform.

7. Order Fulfillment

Sellers are responsible for fulfilling customer orders accurately and within the promised timeframe.

This includes:

• Packaging products properly

• Shipping orders promptly

• Providing tracking information where available

Failure to meet fulfillment standards may result in penalties or account restrictions.

8. Returns and Refunds

Sellers must comply with the Alkonect Return and Refund Policy.

Sellers are responsible for resolving legitimate customer return requests involving:

• Defective items

• Incorrect items

• Products that do not match the listing description

Refund obligations may be deducted from the seller’s account balance where necessary.

9. Seller Payments

Seller earnings will be processed according to the platform’s payout schedule after deductions including:

• Platform commission

• Payment processing fees

• Refunds or disputes

Withdrawal of funds is subject to the Alkonect Seller Withdrawal Policy.

10. Intellectual Property

Sellers must ensure that all listings respect intellectual property rights.

Sellers may not:

• Use unauthorized trademarks

• Sell counterfeit products

• Use copyrighted images without permission

Alkonect may remove listings that violate intellectual property rights.

11. Suspension or Termination

Alkonect reserves the right to suspend or terminate seller accounts for reasons including:

• Policy violations

• Fraudulent activity

• Customer complaints

• Failure to comply with legal obligations

In such cases, Alkonect may temporarily hold seller funds while investigations are conducted.

12. Limitation of Liability

Alkonect operates as a marketplace platform connecting buyers and sellers.

To the maximum extent permitted by law, Alkonect Ltd shall not be liable for:

• Product defects

• Vendor misconduct

• Delivery issues

• Losses arising from seller-customer transactions

13. Indemnification

Sellers agree to indemnify and hold harmless Alkonect Ltd against any claims, damages, or legal disputes arising from:

• Products sold by the seller

• Misrepresentation of product information

• Violations of applicable laws

• Intellectual property infringement

14. Governing Law

These Seller Terms shall be governed by and interpreted in accordance with the laws of Nigeria.

Any disputes arising under these terms shall be subject to the jurisdiction of Nigerian courts.

15. Policy Updates

Alkonect may update these Seller Terms from time to time.

Updated versions will be posted on the platform with the revised effective date.

Continued use of the platform constitutes acceptance of the updated terms.
