• You agree to comply with these Terms and all applicable laws of the Nigeria.

If you do not agree with these Terms, you must not use the Platform.

3. Nature of the Marketplace

Alkonect operates as a multi-vendor marketplace.

This means:

• Vendors list and sell products directly to customers.

• Alkonect provides the platform that facilitates transactions.

Alkonect does not manufacture, own, or directly sell most products listed on the Platform unless explicitly stated.

4. Vendor Accounts

To sell on Alkonect, vendors must:

• Register an account

• Provide accurate business information

• Comply with all applicable Nigerian laws

• Ensure products listed are legal and authentic

Vendors are responsible for:

• Product listings

• Pricing accuracy

• Order fulfillment

• Customer service related to their products

Alkonect reserves the right to suspend or terminate vendor accounts that violate platform policies.

5. Customer Accounts

Customers may create an account to:

• Purchase products

• Track orders

• Communicate with vendors

Customers agree to:

• Provide accurate information

• Maintain account security

• Not use the platform for fraudulent activities

6. Product Listings

Vendors must ensure that:

• Product descriptions are accurate

• Images represent the actual product

• Prices are correct

• Products comply with Nigerian laws

Alkonect may remove listings that:

• Are illegal

• Violate intellectual property rights

• Mislead customers

• Contain prohibited products

7. Payments

All payments made on Alkonect must be processed through the approved payment channels available on the Platform.

Alkonect may:

• Hold vendor payouts for fraud checks

• Deduct platform commissions or fees

• Delay payouts when disputes arise

8. Delivery and Fulfillment

Vendors are responsible for:

• Shipping products within the promised timeframe

• Providing tracking information when applicable

• Ensuring proper packaging

Delivery timelines shown on the Platform are estimates only.

Alkonect is not liable for delays caused by logistics providers, weather conditions, or other circumstances beyond reasonable control.

9. Returns and Refunds

Customers may request returns or refunds in cases such as:

• Damaged items

• Incorrect products

• Defective products

Each vendor may have specific return policies, but they must comply with the minimum return standards defined by Alkonect.

Refund approvals are subject to review.

10. Prohibited Products

The following products are strictly prohibited on Alkonect:

• Illegal drugs

• Counterfeit goods

• Weapons and explosives

• Stolen property

• Items prohibited under Nigerian law

Alkonect reserves the right to remove such listings immediately.

11. Intellectual Property

All content on the Platform including:

• Logos

• Branding

• Software

• Designs

• Text and images

are the property of Alkonect Ltd or its licensors.

Users may not reproduce, copy, or distribute any content without permission.

12. Limitation of Liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, Alkonect shall not be liable for:

• Vendor misconduct

• Product defects

• Delivery delays

• Losses arising from transactions between users

The Platform acts only as an intermediary between vendors and customers.

13. Account Suspension

Alkonect reserves the right to suspend or terminate accounts that:

• Violate these Terms

• Engage in fraud

• Abuse the platform

• Violate applicable laws

14. Privacy

Use of the Platform is also governed by the Alkonect Privacy Policy, which explains how user data is collected and used.

15. Changes to Terms

Alkonect may update these Terms at any time.

Users will be notified of significant changes through:

Continued use of the Platform constitutes acceptance of the revised Terms.
